Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) & Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) |
After the video of Kristen DiMera raping Eric Brady played at Brady Black and Kristen’s wedding, Nicole Walker and Daniel Jonas tracked down the doctor who supplied Kristen with the drug cocktail she used to rape Eric.
Nicole found the documentation proving the doctor (Dr. Chyka) had supplied Kristen with the drug cocktail, but hid it from everyone, not even telling Daniel she had found the file.
After days of contemplating whether or not to tell Eric, who had now professed his love for Nicole, Nicole hid the Dr. Chyka file in her work drawer, locked away.
However, shortly thereafter, Nick Fallon, desperate to try to take back the information Nicole had on the EnerNext oil sands project, uncovered the file, and used it to blackmail her into helping him take down the project.
As Nicole and Eric’s romance blossomed, Nicole’s working relationship with Nick grew more difficult. Nick demanded more and more of Nicole’s time and resources, which Nicole grew to resent.

Unfortunately, Nick didn’t back down, or take Nicole’s rejection lightly. On the morning of Nicole’s wedding, he pays Nicole’s greatest adversary, Sami Brady, a visit. Letting Sami know about Eric and Nicole’s secret nuptials, he also confirmed for Sami when and where she would find her twin and his bride-to-be.
Sami immediately grabbed her mother, Marlena Evans, and crashed the wedding, but were too late. Eric and Nicole were wed, and Eric was furious with his mother and sister for their stubborn refusal to accept his bride.
Nick, however, was not done. Meeting with his lawyer, Aiden Jennings, Nick couriered a package to be sent to Eric’s address on the night of his wedding to Nicole as a wedding gift. Eric opens the package to find the files detailing the drugs Kristen used on him the night she raped him in the hotel. However, one piece of the file, a letter Nick enclosed, falls from the pack and floats under the chest of drawers by the door. Nicole is baffled by Nick's sudden act of benevolence, but is it really what it seems?
