Who Is Liam Frasier?

Jennifer Horton breaks up with Dr. Daniel Jonas after she discovers he had helped her son JJ Deveraux hide from everyone, including Jennifer, the fact he’d been with Theresa Donovan the night of her overdose. Shortly thereafter, Jenn’s budding relationship with pharmaceutical rep Liam Frasier grew more and more intense, as Daniel involved himself more with Jennifer’s good friend Billie Reed.

While Jenn was very happy with Liam, JJ and Jenn’s mother, Laura Horton were far less pleased by their relationship. JJ, in particular, felt there was something off about Liam, and confided in Laura, who set about finding out everything she could about Jenn’s new boyfriend.

Laura discovered that Liam was working for the DiMeras, though she had no proof. Hoping to avoid putting grandson JJ at any more risk (Liam was already suspicious of JJ’s lack of trust in Liam), Laura enlists Daniel to help suss out Liam’s past.

Before she gets a chance to make any big moves, Liam approaches JJ with what appears to be a peace offering: $50,000 toward tuition at an out of state college. At first, Laura and JJ see the move as simply an attempt to get JJ out of Liam’s hair, but eventually they see the virtue in it. Laura sees it as a way for JJ to research Liam from afar, and therefore from a safe distance. JJ agrees with some reluctance, and cashes the cheque, leaving Salem for Berkley shortly thereafter.

Back at home, Liam is sought out by his ex-lover, Anjelica Deveraux, who involves him in her plan to take out Nick Fallon, who she sees as a threat to her complex plans for EnerNext and Titan. Will those plans end up exposing Liam to everyone in Salem?
